Leinster Swim Gala
Hannah O'Brien, Julia Ferraro, Rachel Quinn, Emmy O'Keefe, Emily Ferraro and Julia Lynch represented the school in 8 swimming events. They all performed extremely well against some very tough competition. Schools and swim clubs from all over Leinster were represented and some club swimmers swam at a very high level. The girls were well able to compete amongst them and did the school proud both with their swimming performance and behaviour at poolside. The older four girls reached a very respectable overall fifth place in the Leinster 200m medley relay.
The times achieved by all were commendable. Julia Ferraro, Rachel Quinn and Emily Ferraro achieved Irish qualifying times thus qualifying to represent KPS at the National Swim Gala in March.
